Alinox announced a new range of energy-efficient refrigerators and freezers: the Evolution-range.

These cabinets are equipped with:

• Thicker insulation, 75mm;
• The R290 coolant;
• Just with the above a 35% energy savings.

The refrigerant R290, better known as propane, is a natural refrigerant and can be subsituted for the refrigerants R13 and R503. Because it is a natural refrigerant, it has very low emissions with a GWP value of 3 and doesn't affect the ozone layer. The main advantage of R290 is that it can work with evaporating temperatures below -40°C. This offers opportunities for applications where many other refrigerants are not suitable. Also, R290 has a large vaporization heat, is non-toxic and cheap.

By placing the evaporator outside the cabinet:

• 4% more net capacity;
• Little dehydration by indirect flow.

The VTR refrigerators and freezers with glass door also have LED lights! Take advantage of the Evolution series and benefit from the EID-regulation (Energy Investment Deduction).
